Undawn

Undawn is a large-scale survival shooter built for players who want looting, base work and co-op shooting in a zombie world. By our assessment, the strongest part is the familiar mix of roaming, scavenging and making a camp feel usable, especially if the social side matters. The weakness is that so much of it comes from a standard modern survival template that the game can feel generic beside the sharper genre standouts. In play that means a lot of menu time, inventory handling and repeated runs for materials before the shooting matters much. It sits closer to the big mobile and free-to-play survival crowd than to leaner action adventures, and that shows in how much system sits around the gunplay. Anyone wanting a broad, social survival loop may find enough here, while players looking for a distinctive hook will probably want something else.
