Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator is about putting absurd numbers of units on a map and watching chaos do the rest. By our assessment, the main draw is exactly that spectacle: huge fights, strange matchups, and the cheap pleasure of seeing a theory turn into a mess of bodies and pathing. The downside is that it is not trying to be a deep tactics game, so anyone wanting careful balance or meaningful command systems will run into its limits quickly. In practice it is more a sandbox for setups and jokes than a serious battlefield simulator, with much of the fun coming from the first minute of a scene rather than the fifteenth. Compared with proper strategy games, it is rougher and much less exact, but that looseness is the point. Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator is for quick experiments, not for long-term strategy.
