Tropico 6

Tropico 6 is a city-builder about running a Caribbean dictatorship, with roads, housing, tourism, industry, and the usual balancing act between money and political control. By our assessment, its best moments come from its sense of place and the way it lets you shape an island chain instead of a single map. The trade-off is that the series stays fairly formulaic: people who know one Tropico already know the broad rhythm of the next one, and the management can feel more decorative than strict. In practice it is a game of menus, alerts, and nudging one system after another until the island behaves. It sits between lighter city builders and more demanding economic sims, and the built-in number in the title does not change what the game actually asks you to do.
