Trigon: Space Story puts the focus on managing a ship, its crew, and the messy choices that come with survival in space, so it belongs to players who like systems more than spectacle. By our assessment, its good side is the way it turns a run into a chain of practical decisions about fuel, repairs, and danger, which gives it a nice tension. The downside is that this kind of design can feel stern; if you want constant flash, the spreadsheets-under-fire feeling will not charm you for long. In play it is about juggling limited resources and accepting that bad timing can snowball fast. It sits closer to the harder end of space strategy than to a breezy story adventure, and the ship management is the whole point.
