By our assessment, Travellers Rest is at its best when the routine settles in and the player is juggling casks, tables, ingredients, and upgrades without much friction. The trade-off is that the loop can feel repetitive once the basic tasks are under control, because the appeal comes from upkeep rather than from big surprises. In practice it is a cozy, hands-on kind of game: feed the kitchen, serve the room, expand a little, then do it again.
