TransOcean 2: Rivals

TransOcean 2: Rivals is a transport-management game for players who like drawing routes, balancing money, and keeping ships moving instead of glamorous. By our assessment, its strength is the familiar economic loop: choose cargo, manage vessels, expand lanes, and try not to let the spreadsheet side of the sea get ahead of you. The trade-off is that this sort of game can feel dry if planning and back-office juggling are not appealing. In practice it is about maps, menus, and the slow pleasure of building an efficient shipping network. It sits alongside other management sims rather than action or story games, and it asks for patience more than reflexes. The name is a bit busier than the play, but that suits the genre, and TransOcean 2: Rivals is most convincing when the player enjoys order, logistics, and incremental growth.
