Tower of Fortune: Pralaya

Tower of Fortune: Pralaya puts its weight on random draws and risk management, which is what fans of light roguelike play usually want from this sort of game. By our assessment, the appeal is in deciding when to push luck and when to cash out before a bad turn wipes out progress. Its limit is the same one most luck-driven games have: the run can feel more like a string of outcomes than a plan you fully control. In practice it should feel brisk and a little cruel, with the player reacting to what the deck or table gives back. Compared with more systems-heavy roguelikes, it is simpler and more immediate, so it is easy to grasp but not especially deep. The title is a fit for short sessions and for people who like chance to matter a lot; anyone wanting tight tactical control will find it too reliant on luck.
