Total Tank Simulator is for people who want battlefield chaos without the overhead of a full war sim. By our assessment, its best trick is the toybox scale: you place units, set up absurd matchups, and then watch the simulation spill out in messy ways that are often funnier than a stricter strategy game would be. The trade-off is obvious, though, because the systems are built more for spectacle than for fine control, and that makes balance and depth uneven. In practice it feels like a sandbox for army-stacking and watching plans go wrong in a satisfying way. It sits closer to a comic physics battler than to a serious tactics game, and the loose structure is the point. The name says exactly what it is, and the sandboxes are where it earns its keep.
