Time of Dragons

Time of Dragons is a dragon-fighting game first and a spectacle game second, which means its whole value lives in how the movement, targeting, and aerial combat feel from moment to moment. By our assessment, that is the main attraction: flying a dragon, choosing when to dive or climb, and trying to keep the fight readable while everything is moving in three dimensions. The downside is also built in, because aerial combat games can be hard to read and hard to balance, especially when the novelty has worn off. In practice it is about reflexes, camera control, and learning the space well enough that the sky stops feeling like a scramble. It sits alongside other action games that use mounts or flight as the core trick, but here the trick is almost the whole point. Time of Dragons is for players who want dragon combat as the main dish, with little interest in slower systems or story-heavy framing.
