Tick Tock: A Tale for Two is a two-player puzzle game built around split information, where each person sees different clues and has to talk constantly to make progress. By our assessment, its neatest trick is that communication is the real controller: the puzzles only work when the pair describe, compare, and check details carefully. That makes it memorable in a genre full of solitary logic games. The limit is also built into the design, since it depends on finding another player and staying patient with back-and-forth clue sharing. In practice it feels more like solving a shared case file than playing alone with a menu full of riddles. Compared with bigger co-op puzzle games, it is shorter and more focused, and the ending comes from the conversation as much as from the codes.
