Three Days

Three Days asks the player to live inside a short, pressure-heavy loop, where every choice has to be made with little room to wander. By our assessment, that kind of structure can make a game feel focused and tense, but it also leaves very little space for long-form systems or generous exploration. The appeal is plain enough: quick sessions, sharp decisions, and a setup that sounds built for replaying the same stretch in different ways. The downside is that a tight premise can turn thin if the surrounding mechanics do not keep pace, so the whole thing depends on how much variety is actually inside the loop. Compared with bigger narrative or strategy games, it sits on a smaller stage and asks for less time but also offers less breadth. It is the sort of game that makes sense if the format itself is the point, not if someone wants a large world to settle into.
