This Means Warp is a co-op spaceship game for people who like shouting over systems that are all failing at once. By our assessment, its best trick is the pressure it creates: crew members have to juggle power, repairs, weapons, navigation, and bad luck in real time, so the whole run feels messy in a good way. The trade-off is that it can turn into noise fast if a group does not talk clearly, because the game seems to want coordination more than solo heroics. In practice, that means quick decisions, shifting roles, and a lot of scrambling when one mistake cascades into three. It sits closer to hectic party co-op than to a calm strategy game, and that is exactly the point. If a team wants tidy optimization, this will feel rough; if it wants shared panic, This Means Warp lands well.
