This Land Is My Land

This Land Is My Land is a stealth-heavy open-world western about surviving, scouting, and striking back against much stronger opponents. By our assessment, its most interesting idea is the perspective it takes: it lets the player approach frontier conflict from the side of resistance rather than the usual cowboy fantasy. That idea gives it a distinct identity, but the trade-off is the familiar open-world problem of repetition, where travel, gathering, and repeated encounters can start to dominate. In practice it sounds like a game of planning routes, watching patrols, and taking your time, which is very different from a straight action shooter. It sits apart from classic western games by making stealth and territory the center of play, and that makes it narrower but also more specific.
