The Quarry

The Quarry leans on the old slasher structure: a group of young counselors, a bad night, and lots of decision points that decide who makes it to the end. By our assessment, its strongest feature is how openly it plays like an interactive horror film, with movie-sized performances, slow dread, and quick-time choices doing most of the work. The honest limit is that the interactivity is narrow, so if someone wants deep systems or freeform movement, this will feel more like steering a story than mastering a game. In practice it is about sitting with tension, watching scenes unfold, and living with the consequences of small prompts and branching paths. Compared with other Supermassive-style games, it sits squarely in the same lane: cinematic, choice-led, and built around replaying outcomes. The Quarry is for players who want horror as a guided evening rather than a skill test, and it does not pretend otherwise.
