The Night of the Scissors

The Night of the Scissors feels like a small horror game that wants tension, close quarters, and a steady sense that something is coming through the dark. By our assessment, that kind of design can work very well when it keeps the player alert and uses simple spaces to make every sound matter. The risk is that a narrow horror idea can run out of steam if it depends too much on one trick, so the whole thing lives or dies on atmosphere and pacing. In practice, games like this usually rely on stealth, chase pressure, and a few sharp set pieces rather than big systems or long hours of complexity. It sits with compact indie horror more than with broad survival games, and that makes the focus cleaner. People who like short, tense games with a direct scare setup will get more from it than players looking for deep mechanics or lots of freedom.
