The Night of the Rabbit

The Night of the Rabbit is a point-and-click adventure for players who want story, puzzles, and a gentle fairytale mood instead of twitchy action. By our assessment, its real strength is atmosphere: hand-drawn scenes, an elaborate world, and a pace that gives its talking animals and magical rules room to breathe. The downside is the genre itself, because adventure-game puzzles can turn fussy when logic gets dreamlike. In practice it is the sort of game where you click through locations, combine items, and listen to dialogue while the story does most of the carrying. Against other adventures it sits on the polished, story-first side, closer to modern fairy-tale adventures than to old-school punishment. The name matters here too, because the game is built around whimsy, not around difficulty spikes. It is for people who like to read a game as much as solve it.
