The Mind turns a card game into a strange exercise in restraint, which is why people often remember it after the table is over. By our assessment, its best idea is also its cleanest one: everyone is trying to play cards in order without speaking, so the whole game depends on timing, nerve, and reading the room. That makes it lean, fast, and unusually tense for something so small. The downside is obvious too, because the whole experience rests on group focus; with distracted players, the spell breaks quickly. It sits well above a filler card game and well below anything elaborate, and that simplicity is exactly what gives it its bite.
