The Last Worker

The Last Worker is a first-person story game about being the last human on a warehouse floor run by machines, and that setup gives it a clear target: people who want satire and light puzzle play in the same package. By our assessment, it does best when it lets the setting do the talking, with conveyor belts, delivery logic and a tired future that feels close enough to sting. The downside is that the action side is not built for players who want tight combat or deep systems; the point is mood, traversal and small tasks, not complexity. In practice that means a lot of looking, moving and listening rather than constant pressure. It sits closer to a narrative indie with stealth and puzzle pieces than to a big management sim or a pure platform game. The art direction and corporate-world joke are the main draw, and the ceiling is set by how much that premise can carry once the surprise has settled.
