The Last Faith

The Last Faith does best when a player wants a grim, side-scrolling action game that mixes Metroidvania structure with Soulslike pressure. By our assessment, its strongest point is the atmosphere: heavy pixel art, hostile rooms, and a constant sense that every hallway may hide a fight or a locked route. The trade-off is that this style asks for patience, repeated backtracking, and comfort with punishing combat. In practice it feels deliberate rather than flashy, with careful movement, weapon timing, and exploration doing most of the work. It sits beside other gothic action-platformers more than beside light retro nostalgia, and that is where it makes sense. People who enjoy methodical boss battles and map chasing will find a lot here; anyone who wants a breezy run-through will not. The Last Faith is more about stubborn momentum than quick payoff, and it leans on that throughout.
