The Classrooms

The Classrooms turns the familiar school setting into a long, uneasy wander, and that simple idea is the reason it works. By our assessment, it is a horror game for people who like procedural spaces, backrooms-style drift, and the small panic of not knowing whether a hallway has changed behind them. Its strength is atmosphere: empty rooms, repeating corridors, and the sense that the map itself is not trustworthy. The downside is that this kind of horror leans hard on mood, so if the premise does not click, there is not much else to lean on. In practice it is a game of slow movement, careful looking, and reading space rather than fighting anything. Compared with more scripted horror, it aims for uncertainty over set pieces, and that makes it feel closer to a strange place you keep circling than to a story with neat beats. It suits players who enjoy being unsettled by layout and silence, and it does not try to be a loud action game.
