Templar Battleforce asks for planning, patience, and a taste for squad tactics on a tight grid. By our assessment, its real strength is the mix of turn-based positioning, class-based units, and a clear sense that every move can matter on the next turn. The downside is the same one many tactics games carry: if careful positioning and slower pacing do not appeal, it will feel workmanlike rather than flashy. In practice it rewards reading the map, protecting the weak spots in a squad, and choosing when to commit. It sits closer to classic tactical combat than to broad strategy, and it keeps its focus on the battlefield rather than on spectacle.
