Technobabylon leans into the classic adventure-game rhythm of reading, talking, and opening up one more layer of a neon city. By our assessment, its strongest point is how confidently it builds a dense cyberpunk world out of dialogue, investigation, and puzzles instead of spectacle. The trade-off is familiar for the genre: progress can stall if a clue does not click, and the pleasure comes less from reflexes than from patience and observation. In practice it feels like a long conversation with a city full of surveillance, bodies, and social machinery, with the player working through its knots one by one.
