TERA - Action MMORPG

TERA - Action MMORPG pushes the action part first, with real-time dodging and aiming layered onto the familiar MMO loop of quests, gear, dungeons, and class grinding. By our assessment, the appeal is the combat feel: it asks for more movement and timing than many tab-target worlds, so even ordinary fights have a bit of physical rhythm. The downside is that it still lives inside the long-haul MMORPG structure, with the usual leveling, item chase, and repetition that come with the territory. In practice that means some players come for the combat and stay for the social grind, while others bounce once the routine starts to show. It sits between classic online role-playing and a more active action game, which is exactly why it has always looked different from slower rivals. The result is a serviceable, familiar, and slightly uneven mix rather than a clean standout.
