SunnySide

SunnySide asks for patience in the way farm sims always do: tending crops, building routines, talking to townspeople, and letting days stack up into a life. That structure is the point, and it is good at giving a cozy daily loop with farming, relationship building, and a slower social rhythm than a pure management game. By our assessment, the downside is also built into the genre, because anyone who wants brisk goals or constant action will feel the pace drag. In practice, these games become about little habits — checking plots, planning the next task, deciding how to spend the day — rather than about big dramatic swings. SunnySide sits between classic farming life sims and newer social-sim takes on village management, so it has to satisfy both the farm work and the character side. If that mix is the draw, it has a clear place; if the idea of watering, timing, and routine already sounds tiring, it will not change your mind.
