Summum Aeterna: Prologue

Summum Aeterna: Prologue is the sort of early slice that exists to show a roguelite's combat loop, level flow, and tone before the full game takes over. By our assessment, that means the value is in the feel of movement, fighting, and run-to-run variation more than in a complete arc. The downside is obvious from the word Prologue: it is not the full thing, so anyone wanting a finished structure or a long-term commitment will hit the ceiling quickly. In practice, this kind of release is part demo and part promise, and it can be hard to judge outside its role as an introduction. It sits under the broader roguelite umbrella, where repetition and incremental progress matter more than hand-built scenes. The limit is that it is only a preview of the larger design.
