Sullen: Light is Your Friend

Sullen: Light is Your Friend is a stealth and survival-horror title that seems built around staying in the dark and treating light as a tool rather than comfort. By our assessment, the interesting part is the pressure it puts on movement and visibility: a game like this lives on watching angles, listening for danger, and deciding when to expose yourself. That kind of design can create good tension, especially when the space is tight and the rules are clear. The trade-off is that this style depends heavily on atmosphere and on how cleanly the lighting gimmick is explained, because confusion can turn into friction very quickly. In practice it will likely reward patience, careful timing, and a slow pace more than bold exploration. Sullen: Light is Your Friend belongs to the smaller end of horror games where mechanics and mood are tied together closely. It is a better fit for players who like stealthy fear than for anyone wanting action-forward horror.
