By our assessment, that stripped-down structure is exactly why it works, because the game trusts writing, timing, and branchy conversation instead of cluttering itself with extra systems. The trade-off is plain: there is little in the way of action, so anyone wanting puzzles or movement-heavy play will bounce off it. In practice it feels focused and compact, almost like a stage play for a single route and a string of interviews, with a nice rhythm to the back-and-forth. It sits well above the average text-heavy indie because the premise is tight and the dialogue actually does the work, not just the talking.
