Street Fighter X Tekken

Street Fighter X Tekken works best as a meeting point for two fighting-game systems that already had loyal followings. By our assessment, it is at its strongest in the tag-team rhythm, where quick swaps, combo routing, and matchup knowledge matter more than mashing. The trade-off is obvious: it asks you to learn a lot of meters, cancels, and character pairings before it feels natural. In play it is fast, busy, and often more about studying opponent habits than memorizing flashy strings. Compared with plain one-on-one fighters, it has more moving parts and more ways to blow a round by overcommitting. The crossover hook is the draw, but the game still lives or dies on whether you enjoy system-heavy fighting games with sharp edges.
