Steelrising

Steelrising is an action RPG built around dodging, timing, and fighting mechanical enemies in a stylized version of revolutionary Paris. By our assessment, its strongest point is the setting: the machine-heavy French backdrop gives it a clear identity, and the combat can feel sharp when the rhythm clicks. The catch is that it lives and dies on that combat loop, so if the timing and encounter design do not grab you, there is not much else to lean on. In practice it plays like a Soulslike with a more specific historical costume, which means careful movement, repeated attempts, and a lot of attention to enemy patterns.
