State of Decay: YOSE

State of Decay: YOSE puts survival chores first: scavenging for supplies, keeping a base running, and making sure a small community does not fall apart. By our assessment, its strongest idea is the constant pressure of choosing who goes out, what gets carried back, and how much risk the group can afford before the next bad night. The downside is that the loop can feel rough and repetitive, because a lot of the game is management, travel, and cleanup rather than big set-piece drama. In practice it has a tense, slightly scrappy feel, where every outing matters more than it first seems. Compared with polished open-world survival games, it is more about making do than about spectacle, and that makes it memorable in a blunt way. State of Decay: YOSE is for players who like resource pressure and base upkeep, not for people expecting a neat power fantasy.
