Starship Troopers: Terran Command is a real-time strategy game built around massed infantry, and by our assessment, its appeal starts with that very specific military fantasy. It is strongest when it lets players manage lines of troops, hold ground, and deal with a swarm of bugs using positioning rather than flashy tricks. The downside is familiar to anyone who knows this kind of RTS: once the basic loop is understood, missions can feel strict and sometimes repetitive, because the game wants discipline more than improvisation. In practice it is about watching the battlefield, setting up firing lanes, and reacting before the swarm breaks through. Compared with broader strategy games, it is more focused and more locked to its source material. It will suit players who want a tight Starship Troopers strategy experience, and it is less attractive if you want base building or a wide sandbox.
