Star Wars Outlaws

Star Wars Outlaws is built for players who want to roam the Star Wars underworld rather than follow a Jedi fantasy, and that gives it a very specific appeal. By our assessment, its strength is the mix of open-world exploration, smuggling, stealth, and shootouts, all wrapped in a familiar universe that lets you spend time on the rougher edge of that setting. The trade-off is that open-world structure can spread its systems thin, so some missions will inevitably feel like variations on familiar stealth-and-combat routines. In practice, that means moving through outposts, sneaking, talking, and occasionally blasting your way out, with the ship and syndicate angle adding a bit of texture. Compared with other big Star Wars games, it is less about lightsabers and more about being a thief, smuggler, and opportunist. That makes it a good match for players who like faction tension and wandering through a licensed world from a different angle. The ceiling is the usual open-world one: breadth and atmosphere first, perfect density second.
