Star Valor

Star Valor is a space action RPG for players who like ship combat, trading, mining, and the slow business of fitting out a vessel piece by piece. By our assessment, its best side is the mix of freedom and progression: you can wander, take jobs, and keep nudging a craft toward something that feels yours. The trade-off is that it asks for patience, since much of the appeal sits in upgrading, shopping, and moving through space rather than in constant spectacle. In practice it has the feel of a big, open sandbox where the ship build matters as much as the fighting. Compared with tighter corridor shooters, it is looser and more self-directed, and compared with grand strategy it stays more hands-on. The name fits the promise well enough, but the ceiling is still the usual one for this kind of indie space RPG: repetition can creep in if the loop is not your thing.
