Squishy the Suicidal Pig lives on a joke title, and that is already most of its identity. By our assessment, it is a small, offbeat game that leans on dark comedy more than on complex mechanics, so the appeal is mostly in the premise and the tone. The limit is obvious: once the joke lands, there may not be much else underneath it, and that keeps it from reaching beyond curiosity. In practice it sounds like the sort of thing you finish as a novelty rather than settle into for the long haul. Compared with fuller platformers or puzzle games, it is closer to a weird gag with controls than to a deep system. Squishy the Suicidal Pig is for players who enjoy oddball indie humor and short experiments, not for anyone expecting breadth or polish.
