Sprocket

Sprocket is for people who like building tanks piece by piece and then finding out whether the machine actually moves the way it should. By our assessment, its best trick is the vehicle builder: hulls, turrets, tracks, suspension, and all the awkward spacing in between matter, so the design work feels like real engineering rather than cosmetic tinkering. The downside is that the game asks for patience and a willingness to debug your own creations, because a beautiful shape can still drive badly. In practice it is part sandbox, part problem-solving tool, with a lot of time spent nudging parts, testing weight, and watching the result fail before it succeeds. It sits closer to a vehicle construction sim than to a combat game, even though the combat is what gives the builds a purpose. Sprocket rewards people who enjoy iteration and mechanical fuss, and it leaves anyone who wants instant action staring at a workshop full of bolts.
