Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy

Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy mixes a bright ancient-Egypt setting with puzzle solving and action-adventure structure, and that combination gives it a distinct old-school charm. By our assessment, the appeal is in switching between the two leads and using their different abilities to move through tombs, traps, and platforming spaces. Its strongest point is that it does not just sit on theme; it uses the setting for actual level design and puzzle logic. The downside is age in the simple sense that older adventure games often carry some stiffness in controls and pacing, so patience matters. In play, it feels like a compact dungeon crawl with careful switches, keys, and timing rather than constant combat. Compared with more modern action-adventure games, it is less sleek but more specific in what it wants to be. Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy is a good pick for players who like puzzle-forward adventures and do not mind a little roughness around the edges.
