Spark the Electric Jester

Spark the Electric Jester is for players who want a fast character action platformer with momentum, air control, and a lot of movement in every fight and jump. By our assessment, its real strength is speed: it wants you to dash, string actions together, and keep the stage flowing instead of stopping to admire it. The trade-off is that this kind of game can feel messy if you want strict precision or a slower, more methodical rhythm, because its fun comes from carrying pace rather than locking everything down. In practice it has the energy of a Dreamcast-era mascot action game without pretending to be anything more refined than that. It sits beside other indie speed platformers and character-action homages, and Spark the Electric Jester is at its best when you enjoy movement for its own sake.
