Space Pirates And Zombies 2

Space Pirates And Zombies 2 is a top-down space combat game that mixes ship battles, scavenging, and light strategy for players who like managing a small fleet and picking through the wreckage afterward. By our assessment, the draw is the mash-up itself: it is part shooter, part loot hunt, part campaign map, with a rough indie feel that fits the premise. Its weakness is that this kind of blend can feel busy without always feeling deep, especially if the tactical layer does not land for a player. In practice it is the sort of game that asks you to learn systems and tolerate a bit of friction while moving between fights and upgrades. Compared with cleaner arcade shooters, it sits closer to scrappy sandbox action than to polished space opera. Space Pirates And Zombies 2 is for people who like messy, hands-on space games, and its title tells you almost as much as the game itself does.
