Space Haven

Space Haven asks for patience in the way colony sims usually do: you are managing a drifting ship, rooms, power, air, food, and the people inside it. By our assessment, its best side is the shipbuilding itself, because the layout problems stay visible and the systems matter to one another instead of feeling decorative. The trade-off is that it moves at a slow, management-heavy pace, and the early hours can feel like settling a mess rather than exploring a toy. In practice that means a lot of planning, a lot of rearranging, and the occasional quiet satisfaction when the whole machine holds together. It sits near Dwarf Fortress and RimWorld in spirit, but with a stronger emphasis on life aboard a spacecraft. It suits players who enjoy logistics more than spectacle, and the ceiling is set by how much patience they have for long, careful setup.
