Soul Hackers 2

Soul Hackers 2 lives in the part of the JRPG space where demons, party management, and urban occult style matter more than simple spectacle. By our assessment, it is most appealing to players who want dungeon crawling, turn-based battles, and the ritual of collecting and combining demons rather than an open-ended adventure. Its real strength is that loop of forming a team, learning enemy weaknesses, and pushing deeper through structured encounters. The trade-off is a familiar one for this kind of game: the pace can feel deliberate, and the dungeon work may look repetitive if someone wants constant story fireworks. In practice it is a game of menus, party composition, and careful turns, with the atmosphere carrying a lot of the weight. Compared with broader Persona-style or monster-collector RPGs, it sits in a darker, more mechanical corner. Soul Hackers 2 rewards patience more than improvisation, and that is exactly where its appeal lives.
