Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed Collection is built around arcade racing that keeps changing shape mid-race, which is what gives it its edge. The boats, planes, and cars all ask for different handling, so the track itself becomes part of the game instead of just scenery. By our assessment, that variety is the main reason it still stands out among kart racers: it is fast, busy, and playful without needing a lot of setup.
