Sign of Silence

Sign of Silence is the sort of multiplayer horror game that leans on stealth, quiet movement, and a group trying not to make things worse for itself. By our assessment, it works best when everyone treats sound and timing as the real resource, since that is what these games usually live or die on. The downside is the usual one for this kind of thing: once the tension breaks, the loop can feel thin and repetitive if the map and objectives do not keep evolving. In practice this kind of horror is about listening, waiting, and reading a space more than fighting in it, so the appeal comes from nerves rather than spectacle. Compared with louder co-op horror, Sign of Silence sounds closer to a tense crawl than a brawl, and that makes it a cleaner fit for players who want pressure instead of chaos. It leaves little room for sloppy coordination, and the whole thing depends on the group staying careful.
