Shoppe Keep

Shoppe Keep is a management sim about running a fantasy shop, stocking shelves, setting prices, and keeping adventurers and other customers from turning the place into a mess. By our assessment, its appeal is in the everyday loop of buying, arranging, and selling, with a little chaos from thieves or unruly visitors to keep the routine from going flat. The downside is that this kind of game can become repetitive once the basic loop is understood, because the pleasure comes from maintenance rather than big surprises. In practice it is part store organizer, part light business game, with a lot of clicking and simple prioritizing. It sits closer to casual simulation than to a deep tycoon system, so it is easier to approach but thinner than the heavy management games around it. Shoppe Keep is for people who like tidy counters, constant replenishing, and small problems that can be solved one shelf at a time.
