Shillelagh is a name that shows up on games with different ideas behind it, so the title itself does most of the work rather than pointing to one instantly recognisable formula. By our assessment, that makes it hard to praise in the abstract: there is no single famous Shillelagh to measure, only a thin label that suggests a small or niche project.
