Shadow Strikers

Shadow Strikers sounds like a straightforward action name, and that is roughly what the game usually promises: fast combat, agile movement, and a focus on landing hits before the other side settles in. By our assessment, the main attraction is the directness of the loop, because these games live or die on how responsive the fighting feels in motion. The limit is also clear: if the roster, modes, or balance are thin, the whole thing can start to feel like repetition wrapped in speed. In practice this kind of game tends to be all about timing and positioning, with little patience for wandering around. Compared with richer brawlers or fighting games, Shadow Strikers sits on the lighter, more arcade-minded end of the scale. It is the sort of title that works for short bursts and quick matches, not for anyone looking for depth that lasts for months.
