Secrets of Rætikon

Secrets of Rætikon makes movement the whole point: you glide, land, perch, and slip through a ruined world as a bird rather than a human hero. By our assessment, that unusual perspective is what carries it, because the game is less about combat and more about navigating space, finding routes, and using the air well. The honest limit is that this kind of exploration can feel sparse if someone wants constant goals or heavy systems. In practice it has the calm of a traversal game, but with enough mystery and environmental danger to keep it from becoming a screensaver. It sits closer to atmospheric indie exploration than to puzzle-box platformers, and that keeps expectations clear. The name itself points to the strange, almost mythic tone, but the real draw is simply moving through the world with birdlike freedom. It is a good fit for players who value feel and place over action.
