Seasons after Fall

Seasons after Fall asks for attention, because its whole idea is built around switching the seasons to move through a forest where the world changes with each state of nature. By our assessment, that seasonal manipulation is the real strength: it gives the puzzles a clean logic and makes the environments feel like part of the mechanism instead of decoration. The downside is that the game lives on mood and gentle problem-solving, so it will feel slight if someone wants combat, speed, or complicated systems. In practice it plays like a calm puzzle-platform game with a strong visual identity, where progress comes from observing how water, ice, wind, and growth alter the route. Compared with louder indie platformers, it sits on the quieter end of the genre and asks for patience rather than reflexes. Seasons after Fall is a good pick for players who want a thoughtful, atmospheric puzzle game and not a high-stress one, and it keeps its focus on reading the changing landscape.
