Screencheat is a split-screen shooter built on an ugly little rule: everyone is invisible, so you hunt by looking at the other players' screens. By our assessment, that single trick is the whole point and the main reason it gets remembered at all. It is at its best in local play, where the room becomes part of the game and the screen itself is treated as evidence. The limit is also clear: once the joke is understood, it depends heavily on the group and on whether the hiding-and-peeking idea still feels fresh. Against standard shooters it is more party gimmick than polished competitive sport. In short, it is a game about cheating as a mechanic, not a solemn test of aim.
