Samorost 3

Samorost 3 asks for patience, curiosity, and a taste for browsing strange little worlds until their logic clicks. By our assessment, it is at its best as an exploration puzzle game: the point is to poke at mechanisms, listen for clues, and move through hand-built scenes that feel like miniature habitats. Its strength is the visual imagination, because every screen feels packed with odd textures and tiny machines. The trade-off is that the puzzles can be opaque and the pace is deliberately unhurried. In practice it is closer to wandering through an interactive art book than racing through a challenge gauntlet. Compared with more explicit adventure games, Samorost 3 is softer and more atmospheric, and it asks for less reflex and more attention. It suits players who enjoy patient puzzle-solving and handcrafted worlds; anyone wanting clear objectives and quick feedback may bounce off it.
