Samorost 2

Samorost 2 is a small adventure built for people who enjoy odd little worlds, environmental puzzles, and point-and-click exploration without a lot of combat or inventory fuss. By our assessment, its real strength is the handmade feel: every screen looks carefully arranged, with strange creatures, tiny machinery, and a quiet rhythm that makes wandering around pleasant. The drawback is that the structure is compact and the puzzle logic can feel abstract, so it is not the kind of game that explains itself at length. In practice, it plays as a calm sequence of observation, clicking, and figuring out how one scene reacts to another. It sits with the artier end of adventure games, closer to a puzzle story than to a challenge-heavy escape room. Samorost 2 is a good pick for players who want atmosphere first and don’t mind solving things by curiosity and patience, and it is less convincing for anyone looking for speed or heavy systems.
